The deal

Why shops say yes

$0 to start

No inventory to buy, no fee, no display to pay for. The bags stay ours until they sell.

Keep $3.99 a bag

At the suggested $8.99, that's 44% of every sale — and you can price it higher.

Never stale

We pull any bag 2 weeks past its roast date and replace it free. A bag that arrives damaged is replaced free.

Unsold costs you nothing

You only pay for what sold. Anything left when you're done, we take back.

Out any time on 7 days' notice

No long contract. A plain one-page agreement — one copy for you, one for us.

Insured

We carry product liability insurance and will name your store as additional insured on request.

How it works

Four steps, then it runs itself

  1. 1

    Apply

Two minutes, below. Tell us about the shop and where the box would sit.

  2. 2

    We drop the box

Up to 48 sealed 4 oz bags, roasted that week, in a counter display. You pay nothing to start.

  3. 3

    Your customers buy

You set the shelf price — we suggest $8.99 — and ring it up like anything else.

  4. 4

    We count, settle, restock

Every visit we count together. You pay $5.00 for each bag that sold, and we top the box back up.

Questions shop owners ask

What does it cost me?

Nothing up front. You pay $5.00 for each bag that sold, at each visit, by cash or check. Bags that didn't sell cost nothing.

How much can I make?

You keep the difference between your shelf price and $5.00. At $8.99 that's $3.99 a bag: a 24-bag box that sells through is $95.76 to you. What sells depends on your traffic — a busy register moves more than a quiet chair — so we start small and grow the box if it moves.

What's in the box?

Cinnamon-glazed cashews, almonds and pecans in sealed, labelled 4 oz bags, roasted in Michigan City. Ingredients: the nut, sugar, cinnamon, vanilla extract. Contains tree nuts.

How often do you come by?

Daily, every few days or weekly — whatever your volume needs. You pick on the form; we adjust once we see how it sells.

What paperwork is there?

A one-page consignment agreement and a pickup log we both sign at each count. Because you're reselling, you collect sales tax and give us a resale certificate (Indiana ST-105) — we'll walk you through it.

What if a bag goes missing?

A bag that isn't on hand and wasn't returned counts as sold. That's the only way a box can cost you.
